I Got Scammed by Clipping Platforms—So I Built My Own
After using different clipping marketplaces and constantly being let down and scammed, I created my own clipping platform designed exactly how I want it—specifically for influencers and brands to use.
The Problem with Existing Platforms
The biggest issue on other clipping platforms is volume bot scams. Here’s how it typically goes: you approve a clipping submission that’s legitimately good, and then the clipper uses a volume bot to artificially spike views and drain your balance. There’s no way to dispute it or recover your money.
There’s also a payment problem. Most platforms only use PayPal, which doesn’t work for clippers in many countries. Add minimum payout thresholds and the requirement for a bank account, and you’ve locked out a huge part of the world.
How Reellu Solves This
Reellu uses a two-step approval system: brands approve the original clipping submission, then after 7 days, do a final approval and pay. This kills volume bot attacks—if they’re used, the brand simply declines final approval and pays nothing.
If brands abuse this system with low approval rates, no clippers will work with them. The market self-corrects.
On payments, we’ve built a USDC Solana payment system. Brands deposit USDC directly to a Solana contract wallet—we never hold the funds. Clippers connect their Phantom wallet before submitting, and when a brand approves, the USDC automatically transfers to the clipper’s wallet. No PayPal. No minimum payouts. No geographic restrictions.
