Riding the Inflation Wave with Bitcoin
Bitcoin has just hit a new all-time high and will likely continue to reach new highs during this new bull market. For those of you who listened to me and bought during this bear market, congratulations! Your portfolios are looking really good, and I know some of you made big moves at $15k, so congrats once again. Now, we don’t have to listen to the haters saying Bitcoin is going to zero. Instead, the chatter is all about how much higher Bitcoin will go, and trust me, it's going to go much higher.
Retail investors haven't even entered the equation yet. They'll show up around the $100k mark, and that's when you'll start hearing your Uber drivers bragging about how much Bitcoin they own. I believe Bitcoin will hit around $220k by the end of this cycle, but I also believe it will be a volatile ride up.
When Bitcoin surpasses $100k, which is going to happen sooner than most people think, it will mark a significant paradigm shift, and you'll see retail investors piling in. So, now is still a good time to buy if you didn’t buy during the bear market.
I also believe that when Bitcoin surpasses $100k, you will see crackdowns by Western governments and increased scrutiny because they will start treating Bitcoin as a threat to their complete financial control. So, you could see responses such as bans on self-custody or outright bans on the sale of Bitcoin in certain countries. Because of this, I highly suggest removing your Bitcoin to cold storage because if you don’t have the keys to your Bitcoin, you do not own it.
Governments of the world will continue to take the path of least resistance, which is to print money, bail out banks and corporations, and keep increasing the welfare state. Because of this, I believe Bitcoin is a must-have asset class to protect your financial sovereignty and allow you to transfer your wealth anywhere in the world. With a rapidly changing world, this wealth mobility could be life-saving one day. So, my recommendation is to stack Bitcoin and get backup residency and second citizenship before the doors close or the prices increase dramatically.
