Below you will find a brief detail about the procedure and the documents required by the General Direction of Migration to process the applications for Paraguay residence:
The process of obtaining permanent residence is a face-to-face procedure and requires two visits to the country. In the first one, the temporary Residence Card is requested at the Migration Office. After two years, you will be required to make a second visit, where the Identity Card (Cedula) is requested before the Identification Office and with this the process is completed. We will support you throughout the entire process and handle the retrieval of necessary documentation from the relevant public offices.
Documents that must be issued and legalized by the country of origin (those that must be brought by the applicants from their country of origin):
Birth certificate
Certificate of Marriage/Divorce, in case the client is single it is not necessary to attach a certificate of single status.
Certificate of criminal record (FBI Background), at national level.
All certificates must be legalized at the Paraguayan consulate in the USA or apostilled.
Documents to be issued in Paraguay:

Scanned copy of ID or Passport;
Once we have these documents (they can be sent by mail) we will start to manage the obtaining of the local certificates, which take approximately 7 to 10 days to be issued.
